Sirius is Ren's black German Shepherd and a very good boy. He loves people and will give them kisses whenever they come back home (if he's let). He's currently 6 years old and has been with Ren in two different worlds before this.
Syo's room is actually more "Syo's room from home" rather than this exact specific room from Sweet Serenade onwards, because {in my headcanons for Syo's CRAUs} Syo moves back into the room from home after a certain time, especially as Syo's parents are again too busy to maintain the house longterm.

Originally obtained via a Pokemon egg {Syo was also technically a Breeder in Route, but was new to everything to do with ... Breeding and had tried obtaining an egg from somewhere not Syo's own}/debuted its personality around this ancient 2013 February thread with Madoka Kaname {Madoka Magica} in Route 29 (coincidentally I had replied with Syo on Ren's birthday even...) "Hayato" is named for the "HAYATO" personality of one Tokiya Ichinose of Uta no Prince-sama, while "Ichinose", Syo's Dragonair (once an unevolved Dratini) more specifically named for Tokiya, is an even more specifically loner-type that prefers to remain more in its Pokeball when not bonding directly with Syo.
Hayato, meanwhile, as described in that thread, is a bit more mischievous, as many Meowths may tend to be, but perhaps in an even more ... peculiar manner. It's extremely perceptive to an almost scary degree, but rarely lets on that it knows -- including about Syo's Very Ultra Secret Heart Condition. It essentially grows to act as a sort of Service Animal to Syo without actually being a registered in any way Service Animal Syo never actually canonically thought about having one for self, but maybe Syo should have..., and Syo doesn't quite realize at first its intentions remaining more outside the Pokeball but will grow to learn in time. Similar to Syo, It's not exactly immediately affectionate but won't reject given affection either as long as someone's (i.e. any Natsuki - coincidentally, was also planned to be really good at escaping Natsuki's whims) not too overly affectionate. Most of the time it lazes around the house and Syo's room especially, but often it'll venture out out of curiosity or to learn more about its surroundings, especially when Syo isn't looking, but it doesn't even intend to escape/hide too long, really. Really appreciates if you let it sniff things before surprising with them but if you don't, will just overall opt to ignore you. In general isn't the attacking sort unless Syo's/Syo's loved ones are directly threatened, then it's Claws Out, Better Run time.
It's pretty quiet and not very vocal, rarely not using its actual natural calls unless it has to for some reason, but if you manage to pet it kindly Hayato will very much purr at you. It perhaps makes a show of not purring around Syo in front of strangers (i.e. during accidental network videos that may happen and the like) but Syo knows for a fact it'll purr for Syo when they're relaxing alone, too. So Syo doesn't fully buy its ~AloofTM~ act but Hayato doesn't even seem to care that Syo doesn't buy said act. Is it really just an "act"...?? ? Syo can often make snarky comments around it in a way that Syo more tries to avoid with the rest of Syo's Pokemon, especially Ringo the Ditto and Haru the Ralts (much more the former), but with Hayato, Syo can act a little more like Syo's own self when they're in private too.
The last time Syo actually saw the real "HAYATO" was when Tokiya briefly reverted back to HAYATO form during a June 2013 Fourth wall event -- Syo would then briefly try to help carefully guide "Hayato" towards Cerulean City where they'd meet back up with their friends eventually, but at least tried to look out for Hayato/Tokiya during the time. Ever since then, HAYATO rarely resurfaced in Syo's timeline, so its personality kind of lives on through the memory of Syo's Meowth for Syo. HAYATO also used to be Haruka Nanami's idol and Syo and Haruka bonded a little a lot over having own personal idols (Syo's being Syo's later teacher Ryuuya Hyuuga), and that's just something Syo misses about Haruka too since coming into Ellipsa the longer Syo's away from Haruka. A plot point of their relationship in the games but evenkept in pieces for bits of the anime (such as the "True Wing" episode of Maji Love 2000) was Syo initially seeing Haruka as a fellow "fan" of someone deeply important to Haruka, which was similar for how Syo felt towards Ryuuya in the games, who had previously saved Syo's life when the other was young. The anime at least kept Ryuuya as Syo's idol.

Originally obtained a bit before this thread in Syo's Route 29 CRAU; at the beginning of the months it wasn't uncommon for Trainers to wake up and randomly find an egg waiting for them on the nearest safe surface. Ringo was Syo's only Shiny for the entire duration of Route - except it's basically just a blue Ditto with a more slight tint, a.k.a. it may gleam slightly in light when looked at from an odd angle. Syo was just never really "lucky" in the naturally "finding Shinies" department much less Breeding them, but hey, if Ringo ever wants to, with the other Pokemon....
It has perhaps developed a bit of quite strong Separation Anxiety especially because Who Knows what really happens in between CRAUs from certain Pokemons perspectives and any Heightened Awareness they may have where it finally counts?? and even before it was quite clingy to Syo, originally clinging to and/or nuzzling Syo's legs a lot even after it was first born. It's very vocal compared to Hayato and communicates in a mixed series of "Ditto!" "Dit!" "...to"-like chirps. It likes to "echo" certain words/phrases Syo says to/around it back at Syo in Ditto speak, but it also responds to Syo using a certain style of affirmative if not initially genuinely confused chirping, as if it's responding in a way that it'd be using repetition to communicate if it was actually human.
If it WAS actuallyhuman.... Lately, it seems a little oddly depressed about something, and will often come out of its Pokeball much more to relax around Syo especially when Syo keeps the lights dimmed. It's less vocal and much more subdued when the lights are off to the point Syo worries a bit about it it has nothing to do with the light, because in fact, it enjoys that lighting, but still tries to communicate where it can.
Syo raises it in a way Syo raises all of the Pokemon - giving it as much attention as Syo can provide without overwhelming or favoring it, but also trying to personalize that attention a little and regard them each as their own "person". So when Syo notices Ringo's been down lately, Syo really can't help but worry, but doesn't know what to do for it. It doesn't seem to need medicine... it might have a tendency to poke around Syo's room/explore Syo's things, trying to learn a little more about Syo in the process. Please excuse it if it leaves things out of order, it really doesn't mean to.
At one point, it's going to find Syo's CDs of own and any others' music once Syo gets that room from home, along with Syo's photosfromphotoalbums that were still in the room at the time it was left. At one point, Syo and Kaoru Kurusu, Syo's twin, had experimented in recording a certain song back when Syo was trying to help Kaoru See More Reason about being a little less smothering to Syo back when they were growing up, and Syo tried to appease Kaoru by letting Kaoru sing with Syo at times including while Syo played violin which Syo rarely does canonically anymore until later Shining Live mobile game, just not professionally. The track is very old, with recording quality reflecting the 90s~early 2000s era, since they recorded it when they were younger children but Syo still sounds mostly the same, as did Kaoru. Kaoru does have a good/quality singing voice, just personally lacks huge doubt in own ability compared to Syo's, so maybe Ringo might pick up on being able to use this voice tone more in the future especially if it can Speak Human eventually... and if it ever gets a much better look of those photos.... There might soon enough be a 5th human-esque "member" of this makeshift ""family{?}""??
It's named for Haruka and Natsuki's teacher in the games and anime, Ringo Tsukimiya, a very close friend "acquaintance" of Ryuuya {and is an only initial significant one who knows of a certain secret concerning Ryuuya's original composer Haruki Mori, who later became Ringo's composer...}, who functions as the teacher of A Class (which Haruka, Otoya, and Masato are also all in) - Syo was in S Class being taught by Syo's personal idol since childhood, Ryuuya Hyuuga in comparison. So Syo doesn't actually know Ringo as well personally but maybe some slight Timeline differences happened in Syo's Gamesverse based timeline, because Ringo is a bit of a ... quiteflashyindividualoverall, even for however extremely brief Ringo's appearances are in the anime. In the games, there are deeper reasons for that which never got covered in anime, but Ringo the Ditto's personality is more based on how Ringo initiallyacts around Haruka too in the games, but also variouspoints of the anime. There might be a NotableREASONforThattoo... but neither Ringo the Ditto nor real!Ringo nor Kaoru actually mean things to come across in any of those ways, they swear--!!
Edited ({I also really love writing about Pokemon in general, it might have been Baby's 1st Online Fandom that introduced me to "Fandom" as a Concept & thus -> Utapri} but man the places I could take a Ditto in now... {+itsgonnawantto celebrate SyosJune9thbday}) 2026-02-22 10:41 (UTC)
Obtained via this Pokemon egg early February 2013 for 900p. Named for a certain Idol we all know and love -- LV 20. Slightly more levelled-up/from natural training as they traveled (Syo mainly traveled with Natsuki, so it was familiar enough with Natsuki, but it also remembers Haruka well) than a number of Syo's boxed Pokemon were.
Syo's Cubone is a loner-type just like many Cubones. It tends to hide-away in its Pokeball. Syo brings it out to feed and train it every so often however, in Route, initially trying to coax it out of hiding so much. Syo never really got to actually tell Ren of Route directly about it being named for Ren; {but Ren was maybe-aware of it at some point later on regardless?....} Maybe Ren saw Syo feeding it or something during one of the times they met up?...
It's been coming out of its Pokeball slightly more lately as they all settle into the place, but it's definitely going to prefer to also hang in Syo's room. Alternatively, outside at night, rather frequently, hanging around anywhere it can get Quiet and Privacy. It gets along well enough with Hayato when its out; they mostly just ignore each other. (So there's no need to be concerned about Syo's Pokemon fighting with each other, for the Most part.) However, it also quickly catches on to Hayato's facade, so it might be keeping an eye on Hayato out of concern for it as well.
It's not like most Cubone that cry for their motherall the time but okay... maybe a couple times a week to every few weeks it... might.... If this happens Syo usually tries to stay up with it to comfort it. Just let them have some Alone Time for a while and Jinguuji Ren the Cubone usually settles back down.
Originally Syo called it with "Jinguuji" and would change its nickname to "Ren", but it got kind of used to "Jinguuji". It didn't help that it rarely crossed paths with the real Ren so Syo didn't have to worry before about their names being mixed up. However it may also answer to "Ren" as more time passes anyway just from hearing Syo say Ren's name as "Ren" so much more now. ({in Cubone's Mind, Probably} Back then you always used "Jinguuji" for him...!! Something Has Changed....) Thus if you use "Ren" frequently around it enough too, it may look up at you to determine if you're calling it.
It'd prefer to not eat overtly-sweet Pokemon treats like the Poffins as much but it does eat well.
It kind of wonders where Syo's Pichu, "Hijirikawa" named for Masato! and some of the others went. But Syo seems worried about them all lately too. Maybe that's also why Cubone may cry... It doesn't know yet, but Syo's doing everything in Syo's power to eventually, hopefully see the others again somehow!!
Edited ({I wanted to write a blurb+progress for Ren's too....} (in case they're ever curious about it-) \o/) 2026-02-23 01:38 (UTC)
Originally debuted in this Route 29 accidental Network video post circa December 20, 2012.
Most of Syo's Pokemon were bought from other players active in Route that were selling eggs rather than caught in the wild. Ralts however was Syo's ""starter"", there with Syo from the very beginning of Day (Night??) 1 and named for Syo's then-partner in the original universe/timeline this Gamesverse!Syo came from; Haruka Nanami, this Ralts nicknamed "Haru" and at times maybe referred to with "Haru-chan" depending on who Syo's speaking around. (Natsuki's own self by Route also calls Haruka by "Haru-chan" later on, especially around Syo. Natsuki also uses it for Haruka in the anime. Out of most Natsuki knows, anime!Natsuki initially mainly called Syo and Haruka with "-chan". But Syo doesn't let just ( okay, that scene was Otoya's Route but still... ) anyone use -chan lightly on Syo. Natsuki was an Exception!!1! AN EXCEPTION. For Satsuki Reasons.) Hence the username.
Syo, Natsuki and the first two Pokemon of Syo's all arrived during a day-that-could barely-be-called a-day?? Probably (a.k.a., the light was likely almost all gone by then) where the evening eventually turned into a snowstorm outside, as they had all accidentally arrived during an in-game glitching relevant event unknown to them. So everyone was slightly delayed in both getting out of the center (Syo, Natsuki) and venturing out into the Pokemon world as a whole (Kaoru the Riolu was Syo's 2nd Pokemon.)
Once they do, Syo's own Adventure finally begins!....
It's very mild-mannered but has a bit of a mischievous side too. It won't often get into trouble willingly but sometimes it gets a little ahead of itself. (If an accidental Network post happens it's usually because of Haru, but Syo's other Pokemon may become more involved in making them as time goes on too.) Extremely perceptive of humans (it really tries hard to Perceive Syo, too) -- but when out of its Pokeball, it follows Syo around akin to almost a ghost, making barely any noise at all. But hey, at least it's cute, right...?? Syo dotes on it a little bit just because it's a. Syo's starter and b. reminds Syo of Haruka, but... Syo doesn't want to show it too much favoritism either, so really does Syo's best to share care equally between all of Syo's Pokemon. Before arriving in Kanto, Syo actually hadn't played any games past Generation 1, with only vague awareness of Generation 2 Pokemon and Johto existing, and most of that wasn't by choice -- but Syo spent so much time dealing with the hospital Syo didn't really have time to play games so extensively when growing up even when Syo wanted to and canonically enjoys gaming (including later on with Haruka by game "Debut"). At the least, Syo definitely couldn't make use of trading features and the emphasis of the Link Cable and the like -- because Syo had no lasting friends at the hospital. So Hoenn as a whole is still very new to Syo including Ralts in itself, and Syo's Learning the Ropes about all the later Gens, locations and "newer" Pokemon as time goes on! (Similarly, Syo only saw scattered episodes of the ""original series"" in Japanese, but it might have been a vaguely parody-like version of Pokemon's original anime. Even Utapri in the games is represented as "Oto no Prince-sama", after all.)
When in Route it was eventually highly aware of Natsuki's favored Eevee, "Elizabeth".
Lately, it seems really interested in the music Syo tries to write/produce so seriously, especially whenever Syo mentions the real Haruka's contributions around Haru but... Ralts can't learn Sing so....?
(Honestly I'm a bit undecided on if it's evolved to Kirlia by now. When I make my decision I'll update this before I write it again!)
(Somewhere above Level 20, since it was 20 in Route, but below LV 50 until it Levels up. Still deciding!) {Attacks}: Foresight, Quick Attack, Endure, Counter, Feint, Force Palm, Aura Sphere... Eventually I want it strong enough to be able to use moves like Close Combat. None of Syo's Pokemon reached past LV 20 in Route, however, so it's definitely a Work in Progress!
The actual Pokemon that Syo named for Kaoru, Syo's twin, is Kaoru the once-Riolu, now-Lucario. It's evolved pretty recently and basically surprised Syo (and itself) with its new form once Syo became re-acquainted with everyone again. Kaoru was with Syo and Haru the Ralts when they all arrived on Syo's first evening at a Pokemon center, where they eventually all ran into Natsuki after Syo and Haru's accidental Network post. At that time it was literally just a baby Riolu, having just hatched from its egg that same day, but with as much freshly-born gutso as Syo and Kaoru's own self. Regardless, it's pretty patient and well-trained. It listens well and also tries to keep out from trouble -- It also takes efforts to avoid such, and definitely is more of a quiet type overall. But it doesn't actually mind being around humans -- in fact, it almost seems to prefer that in the end?... .. But it doesn't really know how to interact well with humans, even Syo. It's still learning...!!
However, it's been really wanting to test out its new attacks to the strongest of their abilities -- but there's a bit of a problem. There's definitely a lack of Pokemon it can train seriously against right now, and it's a bit restless as a result. Syo's been guiding it a bit by teaching it some of the black belt level karate moves that Syo learnt in the past, but... ... It doesn't want to hurt Syo. And it knows it's way stronger than Syo is currently -- -- and it knows a single attack landed wrongly on Syo could possibly befatal. So it's definitely been holding back. But if it could just find more partners to spar with...
It was sharp even as Riolu, but it's even sharper as Lucario. It can sense danger{ous intent} nearby pretty quickly, but might not always be able to react/warn Syo in time. If something were to ever happen to Syo, Lucario would definitely be one of the first there to try to burst out of its Pokeball & help if the others can't be.
Syo helped get Kaoru this far, after all. So Kaoru definitely can't forget that anytime soon.
It'll still train to lesser extents with Syo and likes mimicking/mirroring Syo's stances a lot. It'll also watch the "Prince of Fighting" TV drama series starring Ryuuya Hyuuga along with its movie, "Prince of Precipices", with Syo often once those things can be regained along with the room. Sometimes it'll hang behind to watch even when Syo's not in the room, eyes glued to the screen. It might have a growing admiration of Hyuuga-sensei itself, but Syo hasn't told it everything yet of exactly what happened when Ryuuya saved Syo that one time...
Its new size, however, is also proving a little difficult for them both to get used to. Kaoru isn't used to being this close in height to Syo and might show surprise social awkwardness as a result. As a result it might seem pretty awkward or stiff at many various moments while it tries to act "natural" in the new house setting. It'll accept more sweet-flavored things than Ren the Cubone does but that's usually not its first preference, either.
Lately, Ringo the Ditto seems to be acting a little awkward/off around it too...?? ? It always got along well enough with Ringo so it's been growing concerned about the other, too. It'll still offer a Helping HandTM to Ringo whenever the other needs it.

HAYATO also used to be Haruka Nanami's idol and Syo and Haruka bonded a little
a lotover having own personal idols (Syo's being Syo's later teacher Ryuuya Hyuuga), and that's just something Syo misses about Haruka too since coming into Ellipsa the longer Syo's away from Haruka. A plot point of their relationship in the games but even kept in pieces for bits of the anime (such as the "True Wing" episode of Maji Love 2000) was Syo initially seeing Haruka as a fellow "fan" of someone deeply important to Haruka, which was similar for how Syo felt towards Ryuuya in the games, who had previously saved Syo's life when the other was young. The anime at least kept Ryuuya as Syo's idol.Ringo the {Shiny} Ditto
Syo was just never really "lucky" in the naturally "finding Shinies" department much less Breeding them,
but hey, if Ringo ever wants to, with the other Pokemon....It has perhaps developed a bit of quite strong Separation Anxiety especially because Who Knows what really happens in between CRAUs from certain Pokemons perspectives and any Heightened Awareness they may have where it finally counts?? and even before it was quite clingy to Syo, originally clinging to and/or nuzzling Syo's legs a lot even after it was first born.
If it WAS actually human....
Lately, it seems a little oddly depressed about something, and will often come out of its Pokeball much more to relax around Syo especially when Syo keeps the lights dimmed.
It's less vocal and much more subdued when the lights are off to the point Syo worries a bit about it
it has nothing to do with the light, because in fact, it enjoys that lighting, but still tries to communicate where it can.
At one point, it's going to find Syo's CDs of own and any others' music once Syo gets that room from home, along with Syo's photos from photo albums that were still in the room at the time it was left. At one point, Syo and Kaoru Kurusu, Syo's twin, had experimented in recording a certain song back when Syo was trying to help Kaoru See More Reason about being a little less smothering to Syo back when they were growing up, and Syo tried to appease Kaoru by letting Kaoru sing with Syo at times including while Syo played violin
which Syo rarely does canonically anymore until later Shining Live mobile game, just not professionally. The track is very old, with recording quality reflecting the 90s~early 2000s era, since they recorded it when they were younger children but Syo still sounds mostly the same, as did Kaoru. Kaoru does have a good/quality singing voice, just personally lacks huge doubt in own ability compared to Syo's, so maybe Ringo might pick up on being able to use this voice tone more in the future especially if it can Speak Human eventually... and if it ever gets a much better look of those photos....There might soon enough be a 5th human-esque "member" of this makeshift ""family{?}""??
It's named for Haruka and Natsuki's teacher in the games and anime, Ringo Tsukimiya, a
veryclosefriend"acquaintance" of Ryuuya {and is an only initial significant one who knows of a certain secret concerning Ryuuya's original composer Haruki Mori, who later became Ringo's composer...}, who functions as the teacher of A Class (which Haruka, Otoya, and Masato are also all in) - Syo was in S Class being taught by Syo's personal idol since childhood, Ryuuya Hyuuga in comparison. So Syo doesn't actually know Ringo as well personally but maybe some slight Timeline differences happened in Syo's Gamesverse based timeline, because Ringo is a bit of a ... quite flashy individual overall, even for however extremely brief Ringo's appearances are in the anime. In the games, there are deeper reasons for that which never got covered in anime, but Ringo the Ditto's personality is more based on how Ringo initially acts around Haruka too in the games, but also various points of the anime. There might be aNotable REASON for That too...
but neither Ringo the Ditto nor real!Ringo nor Kaoru actually mean things to come across in any of those ways, they swear--!!
Jinguuji (Ren) the Cubone
Obtained via this Pokemon egg early February 2013
for 900p. Named for a certain Idol we all knowand love--LV 20. Slightly more levelled-up/from natural training as they traveled (Syo mainly traveled with Natsuki,
so it was familiar enough with Natsuki, but it also remembers Haruka well) than a number of Syo's boxed Pokemon were.
Syo's Cubone is a loner-type just like many Cubones. It tends to hide-away in its Pokeball.
Syo brings it out to feed and train it every so often however, in Route, initially trying to coax it out of hiding so much.
Syo never really got to actually tell Ren of Route directly about it being named for Ren;
{but Ren was maybe-aware of it at some point later on regardless?....}
Maybe Ren saw Syo feeding it or something during one of the times they met up?...
It's been coming out of its Pokeball slightly more lately as they all settle into the place,
but it's definitely going to prefer to also hang in Syo's room. Alternatively, outside at night, rather frequently,
hanging around anywhere it can get Quiet and Privacy.
It gets along well enough with Hayato when its out; they mostly just ignore each other.
(So there's no need to be concerned about Syo's Pokemon fighting with each other, for the Most part.)
However, it also quickly catches on to Hayato's facade, so it might be keeping an eye on Hayato out of concern for it as well.
It's not like most Cubone that
cry for their motherall the time but okay... maybe a couple times a week to every few weeks it... might....If this happens Syo usually tries to stay up with it to comfort it.
Just let them have some Alone Time for a while and
JinguujiRen the Cubone usually settles back down.Originally Syo called it with "Jinguuji" and would change its nickname to "Ren", but it got kind of used to "Jinguuji".
It didn't help that it rarely crossed paths with the real Ren so Syo didn't have to worry before about their names being mixed up.
However it may also answer to "Ren" as more time passes anyway just from hearing Syo say Ren's name as "Ren" so much
morenow.({in Cubone's Mind, Probably} Back then you always used "Jinguuji" for him...!! Something Has Changed....)
Thus if you use "Ren" frequently around it enough too, it may look up at you to determine if you're calling it.
It'd prefer to not eat overtly-sweet Pokemon treats like the Poffins as much but it does eat well.
It kind of wonders where Syo's Pichu, "Hijirikawa"
named for Masato!and some of the others went. But Syo seems worried about them all lately too. Maybe that's also why Cubone may cry...
It doesn't know yet, but Syo's doing everything in Syo's power to eventually, hopefully see the others again somehow!!
Haru{-chan} the Ralts
LV 19 {Initially} | Growl, Confusion, Double Team, Teleport, Lucky Chant
Originally debuted in this Route 29 accidental Network video post circa December 20, 2012.
Most of Syo's Pokemon were bought from other players active in Route that were selling eggs rather than caught in the wild.
Ralts however was Syo's ""starter"", there with Syo from the very beginning of Day (Night??) 1 and named for Syo's then-partner in the original universe/timeline this Gamesverse!Syo came from;
Haruka Nanami, this Ralts nicknamed "Haru" and at times maybe referred to with "Haru-chan" depending on who Syo's speaking around.
(Natsuki's own self by Route also calls Haruka by "Haru-chan" later on, especially around Syo. Natsuki also uses it for Haruka in the anime.
Out of most Natsuki knows, anime!Natsuki initially mainly called Syo and Haruka with "-chan".
But Syo doesn't let just
( okay, that scene was Otoya's Route but still... ) anyone use -chan lightly on Syo.
Natsuki was an Exception!!1! AN EXCEPTION. For
SatsukiReasons.)Hence the username.Syo, Natsuki and the first two Pokemon of Syo's all arrived during a day-that-could barely-be-called a-day?? Probably (a.k.a., the light was likely almost all gone by then) where the evening eventually turned into a snowstorm outside,
as they had all accidentally arrived during an in-game
glitching relevantevent unknown to them.So everyone was slightly delayed in both getting out of the center (Syo, Natsuki)
and venturing out into the Pokemon world as a whole (Kaoru the Riolu was Syo's 2nd Pokemon.)
Once they do, Syo's own Adventure finally begins!....
It's very mild-mannered but has a bit of a mischievous side too.
It won't often get into trouble willingly but sometimes it gets a little ahead of itself.
(If an accidental Network post happens it's usually because of Haru,
but Syo's other Pokemon may become more involved in making them as time goes on too.)
Extremely perceptive of humans (it really tries hard to Perceive Syo, too) -- but when out of its Pokeball, it follows Syo around akin to almost a ghost, making barely any noise at all.
So Hoenn as a whole is still very new to Syo including Ralts in itself, and Syo's
Learning the Ropes about all the later Gens, locations and "newer" Pokemon as time goes on!
(Similarly, Syo only saw scattered episodes of the ""original series"" in Japanese,
but it might have been a vaguely parody-like version of Pokemon's original anime.
Kaoru the Lucario
(Somewhere above Level 20, since it was 20 in Route, but below LV 50 until it Levels up. Still deciding!)
{Attacks}: Foresight, Quick Attack, Endure, Counter, Feint, Force Palm, Aura Sphere...
Kaoru was with Syo and Haru the Ralts when they all arrived on Syo's first evening at a Pokemon center,
where they eventually all ran into Natsuki after Syo and Haru's accidental Network post.
At that time it was literally just a baby Riolu, having just hatched from its egg that same day, but with as much freshly-born gutso as Syo
and Kaoru's own self.Regardless, it's pretty patient and well-trained. It listens well and also tries to keep out from trouble --
It also takes efforts to avoid such, and definitely is more of a quiet type overall.
But it doesn't actually mind being around humans -- in fact, it almost seems to prefer that
in the end?.....
And it knows it's way stronger than Syo is currently --
-- and it knows a single attack landed wrongly on Syo could possibly be fatal.
So it's definitely been holding back. But if it could just find more partners to spar with...
It was sharp even as Riolu, but it's even sharper as Lucario.
It can sense danger{ous intent} nearby pretty quickly, but might not always be able to react/warn Syo in time.
If something were to ever happen to Syo, Lucario would definitely be one of the first there to try to
burst out of its Pokeball &help if the others can't be.Syo helped get Kaoru this far, after all.
It might have a growing admiration of Hyuuga-sensei itself,
but Syo hasn't told it everything yet of exactly what happened when Ryuuya saved Syo that one time...
