[Even if there's a danger in Olivine, Ren wants to make an announcement about something else. It's that important, at least to him. Though there's no video on this one as he's not in the mood for video-talks.]
To anyone who knew Crow Hogan, I'm sorry to say that he has left us. I'm sure he wouldn't want me or anyone else to mourn because of him too much, but I can still say that I'll miss him.
That jerk better come back! I won't forgive that son of a Muk otherwise!
[...]
That small message was provided to you by Chatot comic relief... services.
Who're you calling comic relief, Casanova?!
[.... back to pokéball, you.]
Also anyone near Olivine around now... please be careful.
[To distract himself from thinking too much about Olivine/Crow things, Ren can be found reading a book outside of the Pokémon Center.]

I suppose we'll never get rid of you, then. Oh, wait. We already once did.
[Tosses that sincerity right outta the window. No one needs your sincerity.]
If the lighthouse gets destroyed again, I'm blaming you for it, then.
[Then again, he's blaming you for all the bomb-related things. Guilty until proven otherwise.]
[audio]
[Besides, it was obviously far too boring around here without him around! Geez.]
You're free to blame me all you like, but you're actually mistaken in this case. Although, provided the explosion is beautiful enough, I'll be more than happy to take credit for it.
[If it helps you sleep at night, and all that fun stuff.]
Will blaming me make you feel better when all is said and done, Ren?
[audio]
[What did he do to deserve this, really.]
You say that, but I don't have any reason to trust anything you say. You just happen to be the only one I know who likes explosions and would remember me, so of course I'd think of you as a suspect.
[There are a few others who might remember him, but he hasn't ever really seen them blow anything up or anything. Though that doesn't make Kato the only suspicious one.]
Nothing about you makes me feel better.
[audio]
That's rather cold of you - here I was thinking we were friends.
[Think of it this way, Ren; with a friend like this, you won't need any enemies!]
I suppose I do sound like a likely suspect, don't I? I'm rather pleased my work has left such an impression on you. Clearly, I'll have to ensure your suspicions are well-founded.
But don't fret - you'll be privy to my work soon enough. I merely intend to target somewhere other than Olivine this time, even if it would be lovely to tear that Lighthouse down again. I wonder, if it disappears for a second time, will they simply refrain from rebuilding it? Creation is such a lengthy, expensive, complicated process, but destruction...you need no more than an instant.
With that in mind, how could anyone possibly fight back in the face of my colleagues and I?
[audio]
[He'd rather take ten enemies than a friend like this, to be honest.]
It would be rebuilt as many time as needed. The locals here can be pretty stubborn when it comes to things like that. Same goes for anything else you might try to destroy.
As long as there are people like you, we have a reason to fight and that we will do, no matter what the situation is.
[He says this, but he's not in Olivine. He doesn't care though, since he's going to be involved in later fights.]
[audio]
[Seriously, you guys all sound like one big broken record. Protagonists, honestly...]
Buildings can be recreated, yes, as if they were never destroyed. But what about lives, Ren? You do know we target more than just static objects, don't you?
[He'll resist an evil chuckle at this point, but it's difficult.]
I've always said that the greater the number of victims, the greater the impact of the artwork. I'll be interested to see if you lot can prevent the upcoming one from being a masterpiece.
But that's the fun of it, isn't it?
[audio]
Oh how he hated this feeling of helplessness. Funny, he had never thought he'd be in a situation like this. Heck, he wouldn't be back at home.
Though he hates Kato even more than that feeling, really.]
Aa, I do know. That's why I'll be as persistent as I need to be, even if it would be pointless, as you said. Lives can be protected and saved. Not necessarily everyone, but as many as possible.
[audio]
[Alright, alright, one evil chuckle. He'll allow himself that.]
I tend to have a rather cynical view of humanity, but you're one of the more adorable specimens that I've come across. There's a small amount of beauty in your misguided hero complex, I suppose.
[Emphasise on 'small', thanks.]
I do hope you'll try to stop me when it's my turn to take to the stage. I'll enjoy watching you fail.
[audio]
Though he does feel a small shiver with that "adorable" mention. Something about being called adorable by Kato makes him feel really uncomfortable.]
I'm not sure if I should be honored about that or not.
[Small amount or not, that's still quite a lot coming from Kato, isn't it.
It takes him a little while to gather the remains of his composure. Because of that he actually sounds a little more confident.]
I'll definitely do what I can. It's about time we settled the score, isn't it? We never really had a chance to battle or anything.
[audio]
[Don't worry Ren - if Kato is good at anything, it's destroying things and making people uncomfortable. Hey, everyone needs a hobby.]
We haven't had a proper battle yet, have we? I suppose your old friends here would encourage me to 'teach you a lesson', and all that. But a Pokemon battle won't make you learn anything. Nothing important, anyway.
[Even if it's a good excuse to cause some explosions...]
But don't worry. I'll get my chance soon enough. I'm sure it will be most enlightening for you.
[And with that, Kato will hang up - but not before leaving you with an appropriately ominous chuckle. God, it feels good to be a gangsta.]
[audio]
Though Kato did help him get his mind off of sad things and turn them into irritated ones. GJ.]
