I read they can transform! Kind of like how Ringo-sensei does, yeah?

He's a Hitmonchan - a fighting-type Pokémon. The other one is a Gardevoir - a psychic type - which is the last evolution stage of a Ralts... well, one of them.

Usually Gardevoirs are female, which is a reason why he's named after Tsukimiya-sensei.

[Ren chuckles though.] Good thinking on your part as well.

Oh, a "fighting-type" definitely suits one named after Hyuuga-sensei, then!

Ehhh, but they change how they look--?

Haru, you'll turn into that Gardevoir when you grow up?

Most Pokémon evolve when they have enough levels. Ralts evolves into a Kirlia and after that - depending on its gender and the way its evolved - into either Gardevoir or Gallade. Gallade are male ones, so Haru couldnn't evolve into one.

[He's been in this world for quite a long time so he knows a lot, it would seem.]

Good luck with that. I'm still missing Hijirikawa, Shinomiya, Ichinose and Shibuya from my Pokémons. I'm not so sure if I want a Pokémon named after our principal.

It won't be too long. As I recall, they evolve around level twenty.

Your Hyuuga will also evolve into something bigger... but Ringo will always stay as it is, but instead of that it can change its form into any Pokémon it sees. Pretty convenient, you could say.

And really, he will? And that's what Ringo does?! I thought it was kind of silly, but that makes it a lot more useful, yeah!

Yeah. I think the next stage was called a Mightyena or something of the sort. And his ability is useful if you're able to use its abilities well.

Awesome, a "Mightyena" must be powerful to have "might" in it's name! Also perfect for someone named after Hyuuga-sensei!

"Abilities"? I don't know much about those yet, but I heard a guide was posted to the network earlier, so I guess I'll look through that for the info! Once we arrive, anyhow.
