[A video post opens. The camera is a little shaky at first, but settles down after a while. It's obvious that a Pokémon is recording this since the owner of the gear can be seen, standing further away from the gear with a saxophone on hand. This, however, isn't an accidental post as you can figure once Ren starts talking.]

I made a promise once that I would let someone listen to my music. It took me a while, but I'm ready to play now. [Hey, it's better than having to listen to the background music all the time, right?] This is what I've been able to come up with during the time I've been here.

[Enough talking for now. He'll start playing his saxophone to this song. Obviously he can't play it while he sings, but you get the idea of the rhythm every time he does play.

While he's singing, he seems to be really enjoying what he's doing. This is his passion for music, ladies and gentleman.

After the songs ends, he takes a moment to talk to his audience.]

Thank you for listening. [He smiles.] This also won't be the last time you'll be hearing me perform. I'm an idol, after all.

[With that, he'll give a small signal and the feed cuts here.]

The only thing off was how the camera was placed and how the acoustics were handled ? If you had the camera up higher or maybe on a tripod the video would be cleaner... A mic stand would also be very useful?

[ and now she's gone in to video edit mode... at least it's not a state of panicking or trying to get one of her fellow idols / traveling buddies out of a lake or cave for once. ]

[Ren listens calmly. The talk is actually pretty interesting and useful; she clearly knows a lot about this kind of things. A really fascinating girl.]

Hmm... I'll have to keep those in mind before I make any other performances. I guess making a Meowth hold a video isn't the best idea for something like this. [Even if the Meowth had practice and she was standing on something to be taller.]

You have a meowth? [ and that just hit on one of the things she loves the most, cats and anything related to them. ]

Where did you find one?... They're really adorable...

[At the mention, he'll turn the camera to show a happily curious Meowth.]

I received her as an egg from a colleague... but I've seen a few right outside Goldenrod City.

She's very cute though, did you give her a name or just leave it as Meowth?

I'm sure you will. Do you like cats?

Unfortunately, I'm quite bad with names, so she's still just Meowth. [He hasn't really named any of his Pokémon.]

Cats are my favorite animal... they're fluffy and don't scare people like dogs. They also tend to understand their owners a little more?

How about naming it using a pun? I've been wanting to do that with my pokemon but Ai-chan and Ryo-san wouldn't really understand the naming patterns....

I can agree with you that. I didn't have any pets back home, but I would prefer a cat over a dog.

A pun? Hmm, I hadn't thought of that.

I don't have any pets at home either... so I'm getting a lot of pokemon here to make up for it?

Puns are a lot of fun, there's almost an infinite amount of them you can use at any given time.

Well, I wouldn't call most of the Pokémon really pet-material... but I guess that works.

I've never been the one to joke... but I guess I could try. Mind giving me a tip or two, lady?

For starters my name is Eri Mizutani... it's better than just calling me random names?

As for tips, using the sounds they make is a good start. Like for a Pikachu. pokadot would be good good name. Since they make a pika noise and it sounds a little like the root of pokadot? For a Persian, purcat would work since it's a pun on cats purring and the word perfect...

You can just call me Eri if you want? Normally everyone just calls me by my first name at work.

No one ever thinks to use how it sounds in a different language as a way to springboard a joke. So it's always good think of things like that.

It's certainly a refreshing way to think about it.
