[The feed this time has Ren sitting on a bench in Goldenrod City. There are three Houndour eggs, wrapped in a blanket, next to him and a Houndoom sitting behind the bench.]

Pokémon really seem to like surprises. I came back to my room today to find some eggs. [A surprise he didn't really want to happen, but such is life.]

I've been thinking of leaving the base for a while to challenge the gyms in nearby cities. [Wait, what... Ren's actually going to travel and battle? That's unheard of.] Do you need to get some sort of a permission to do that or do I just inform someone I'm ending my current mission for a while?

[He doesn't really want to get into any trouble when he's already walking on thin ice, so he thought it would be good to ask.]

Oh yeah, I can definitely see where that would be useful. I just borrowed the HM from someone and taught it to my Pokémon.

I was thinking of borrowing the HM's as well, but then I was lucky enough to receive a Pokémon that already has Fly. Now all that I need is the first badge to actually use it... [Which is the most ridiculous thing.]

Oh, did a trainer tell you that? Trainers have to get the first badge to use it! Since we're members of Team Rocket, we don't have to worry about that, we can just use them right off the bat, like breeders!
