[Here's a room at the inn. On the bed, there are eight Pokémon eggs. There's also one of the happy mothers, an Altaria, next to the eggs, looking after them.

After a while, the camera turns to show Ren. He looks cheerful, somehow, though most likely not only because of the eggs.]

I decided to try breeding my Pokémon and as a result I have eight eggs to sell. They won't be too expensive, since I just need some money to get myself back on the track.

[Why's that? Well, he's not about to tell his life story here so you might have to ask yourself, if you're interested.]

There are a few Houndour and Swablu eggs as well as a Dratini, an Oshawott and a Mienfoo egg. All of them should have some egg moves with them. The Oshawott at least will know Surf right away.

[But that's about that. He has something else to say as well.]

I have been thinking that it would be nice to hold another concert. The one on April was a huge success and I'm sure many people enjoyed it as much as I did.

Oh, what kind of concert? [The man does like music, very selective but still.]

Also the concert would include several kinds of music genres, as we have several kind of artists' in this world.

[What's this? The man appears to be mothering another Pokemon egg in his eggs, as he rubs that in a rather loveling manner.]

Oh? Will Rock and Roll or Heavy Metal be there?

[Ren resists the urge to roll his eyes. Of course there are people who'd think that Pokémon are tools for conquering, but at least Pokémon were smart enough to stand their ground most of the time.]

Which one would you be interested in?

[Not that he's actually happy about giving an egg to suspicious people, but he trusts that everything'll go okay.]

Most likely, at least rock. I haven't met people who play heavy metal around here.

The Oshawott, has my eye. [There's a small evil nerdy chuckle as the man continues to stroke the Pokemon egg.]

Oh? EXCELLENT![The man squirming in place and almost drops the egg.] That was too close. It's alright egg. I have you and I, Mr. Denzel Crocker aren't going to let anything happen to you!

[Before turning to continue the conversation.] Well, nothing beats the classics. Well, that's disappointing, shame I don't have my Who record albums with me.

Ah, Oshawott's are rather nice. They're hard-working, even if something a little stubborn... of course it depends on the Oshawott.

[Ren frowns at the man's actions. Can you really trust this guy?]

I'm sure someone with heavy metal sense will arrive to this world at some point... and you might get your records back through special events.

So, the computer data suggests them being hard workers - Mmm I wonder if that will be an issue. [Crocker looks at his feet] What do you think, Geraldine?
[There's a small dog reply, which only a Pokemon would understand for the most part and crazy people.] Yes, I think we'll be fine too.

We'll take it!

[Crocker continues to nurture the egg. Even if there's some psychotic look in Crocker's eyes, he does also appear to care.]

[He does seem to care, so he'll trust him this time.]

Sometimes this world decides to gift its people. We've gotten shiny Pokémon eggs as well as items from home. No one knows how or why they appeared.

[Ah crap, look. The man can't say the Rocketbase but he also can't go the to Goldenrod Pokemon Center.] Don't you just need my name? [Recalling on how the egg that he has now was transferred over to him.]

Shiney Pokemon? Please continue. What kind of 'special events' have happened, mmm?

Well, I can also send it through the PC box, if you'd like.

[That's even more suspicious, but maybe the guy just doesn't want to be much out in the public. At least he seems like that, sitting in the dark and all.]

Shiny Pokemon are Pokémon with different colors from their normal ones. They also sparkle whenever you call them out. Special events are... well, usually rather bad for everyone. Once a lot of people got Pokémon-like powers, though that was Team Rocket's fault, and then the end of the world almost came.

[Meanwhile, Crocker keeps stroking the Pokemon egg, like something out of James Bond and his glasses for a moment to seem to glimmer, when Team Rocket is mentioned. Though the man looks lost on the shiny Pokemon but probably because he was taking that literally.]

That's it?! They don't even shine?!.. I suppose sparkling counts.

Oh, really? Now, how did this come about with people gaining -POKEMON like powers? [There's something conniving about this statement that is until the man is shook by fear and shudders out.]

THE END OF THE WORLD?! What happened?

Well, they're mostly just rare-colored Pokémon. There's nothing really amazing about them.

[Ren just has to wonder what's the deal with this guy. He seems a bit... odd. Maybe a little creepy, in some sense.]

They made some experiences and made it so some of the people had powers. Unfortunately, it also made people fall sick... the stronger the power was the worse were the consequences. [Luckily he was only a level two psychic... even if the headache that came with it was horrible.]

There were giant golem like Pokémon walking around the place, destroying places and making strong blizzards... luckily it ended quite soon.

If they're only a different color and not any more powerful than - NO!

[Crocker yells at the top of his lungs before noticing what he's done and begins to 'sshhhhhh' as if he thought he woke the baby up. Pressing his head against the Pokemon egg, gently the man changes how Crocker had been stroking that so menacing but rather caring and states off to the side.]

Mmm, if I could find that information I may be able to remedy the side effects...

I wonder which Pokemon that was. [His eyes seem to scatter in thought.]

Anyways, my name is Denzel Crocker!

[They never told grunts anything useful when he was there.]

[Crap, was he talking out loud again his plans? His eyes wander to one side, about that. Let's just skip that, shall we?]

EXCELLENT! [This time having a slight body jerk, while clenching onto the egg with a death grip. Scrambled Pokemon, anymore? Before wandering off camera to go and check the PC box and to transfer the money right away. Plus a little extra cash for being so informative.]
