A. [Action] for Goldenrod Department Store; Morning

[Ren has been shopping as he's feeling much better than he has for weeks. He has some stuff he's already bought and now he's getting the last things he wants. So you can meet Ren at the music department of the store, looking at the saxophones and other musical things.]

B. [Video/Action] for Route 34; afternoon

[Ren is not too happy. Morning went fine as he finally got to do some shopping, but now he's been dragged to train his Pokémon (by his own Pokémon) and it's no longer a nice day. Mostly because Ren doesn't particulary care for training as it's bothersome... but also because he obviously has issues with his Pokémon. It's the rocketchip that makes his starter really enthusiastic on getting stronger (for the team) and Ren is not very suited for training such a Pokémon as he's not the most outgoing person. It doesn't help that Zebstrikas are naturally violent.

The problems are why Ren's making a video feed today.]

What do you do when your Pokémon is crazy? [He pauses.] I'd keep it inside its ball, but it somehow always gets out... and that always happens when I try to make it go to my PC box, too.

[Really bothersome, really. Why did some Pokémon escape so well from their balls if they were meant to be for keeping them in control.]

This isn't what makes it crazy though. It seems obsessed with training and keeps thinking that it's in charge of things around here. [He looks away from the camera.] Even now it's almost training by itself...

[Ren will now move the camera so that it shows a Zebstrika, fighting a Snubbull in the grass. Well, for a second at least. Then the Zebstrika turns its attention to Ren... and makes a sound of disapproval.]

Did I already mention that it's also pretty violent?

[... Which might become clear as the zebra comes to Ren and knocks him harshly before Ren has time to really react. Its obviously not really happy about its trainers slacking off again.] Ugh... Fine, fine. We'll continue.

[And it's the end of the feed. Which one here was the Pokémon and which one was the trainer?]

C. [Action] for Team Rocket HQ; evening

[Some time later, there's one slightly injured Rocket in the base. Looks like this time the training didn't go pretty well, huh?]

Yup, because the stray cat boy can do whatever he wants to do and shopping is not on the list of his favorite things.

[OOC: because my headcanon says that Utau buys his clothes too. Whether it's with or without him on the shop, is a different story... And whether she just imagines the clothes on him or if he actually wears clothes that Utau bought for him... That's a different story too.]

Ah. Then I guess you have an advantage. [Since he doesn't really even do much of his own shopping. Being rich kid is easy.] I'll still make it a challenge for you.

[Utau smirks.] You better make it a tough challenge for me.

I will. There's no need to worry otherwise.

Good, because I don't want it to be like child's play.

[Have a small, amused laugh. And look, they've arrived to the right department.]

Well then, let the games begin.

[Quick exchange of sizes and off she goes to the men's side of the department.

Oh, did she mention that she's an ex-model too? This was going to be a piece of cake.

Today's style is rock until you drop, without the until you drop part actually. It's stupid how some people would just pick anything to try to win this thing. Well, Utau is not one of those people, she actually puts thought into everything that she picks from there. Yes, even to those that she picks on the last minute.]

[Even if Ren hadn't done this before, he's certainly not going to make random choices. He thinks about them carefully until the given time is over.]

[And once the time is up, they'll meet near the changing rooms and she gives the men's clothes to Ren with a neutral face.]

[He hands the clothes he picked as well.]

Well, should we try these on at the same time or how?

Either that or we'll do it in turns. Whichever works for me.

Hmm... I guess we could do it the same time. Saves time and gives something to do while the other changes.

Okay. I'll try not to be as fast as a model, then.

[And into one of the changing rooms she goes!]

[Well, Ren was more worried he'd make Utau wait, but anyway-

Changing is a go for him, too.]

[Okay, as soon as she's alone...

Sparkling eyes, and sparkling girl because fuck yeah, new clothes!]

[Looking through them all... Wow, was he just lucky or is he actually good at this?

[...and it feels good to be the first one who comes back from the changing room.

Utau, plz. It's changing clothes, not a race or a challenge for "the fastest person gets everything for free".]

[Ren takes his time looking through the clothes and putting them in order to use. He'll save his favorite as the last one... though it's really hard to choose his favorite from these clothes. She's really good at this.

He comes out after he's changed and smiles at Utau. What a beautiful girl she is.]

I was right about the color.

[She has enough time to look at herself from a mirror for a sec before he's done changing too. W-What's the smile for?! I-Isn't he just being all smug because he can, obviously, choose good clothes?! But he doesn't seem smug at all. And that's not the lightest shade of pink on her cheeks! ...Well, he looks good in those clothes too.]

Indeed. But you're not the only one who was right about the color.

[He's just happy that he made good choices that flatter her appearance.

He looks at the mirror for a while.]

Of course not. You've done an excellent job as well, as expected.

[A very tiny smile at that, or more like a smirk of a smile. She'll look at herself at the mirror now, thanks. She spins around twice too.]

Hmm. I might let you choose my clothes more often... [Assuming that there's another day like this, or any other need for it.]

Okay, next.

[And she'll go to change more clothes~]

[He'll be glad to offer his services if a new opportunity arises. Though he goes to change his clothes as well.

This time he'll be a lot faster, since he's decided the order.]

[Utau will be a lot faster too. Got to speed up once he's used to it now.

And she'll be looking herself in a mirror and spinning a little once she's ready and waiting for him.

Looking at his clothes.]

Hmmmm~. Maybe I should have chosen a different colored shirt.
