♪4 | video/action for Goldenrod City

[A video post opens. The camera is a little shaky at first, but settles down after a while. It's obvious that a Pokémon is recording this since the owner of the gear can be seen, standing further away from the gear with a saxophone on hand. This, however, isn't an accidental post as you can figure once Ren starts talking.]

I made a promise once that I would let someone listen to my music. It took me a while, but I'm ready to play now. [Hey, it's better than having to listen to the background music all the time, right?] This is what I've been able to come up with during the time I've been here.

[Enough talking for now. He'll start playing his saxophone to this song. Obviously he can't play it while he sings, but you get the idea of the rhythm every time he does play.

While he's singing, he seems to be really enjoying what he's doing. This is his passion for music, ladies and gentleman.

After the songs ends, he takes a moment to talk to his audience.]

Thank you for listening. [He smiles.] This also won't be the last time you'll be hearing me perform. I'm an idol, after all.

[With that, he'll give a small signal and the feed cuts here.]

Ah, then it's the same for us both. [He nods.] Our band had our first concert just before I arrived here.

I guess that answers your question. Though it's a boyband with six guys, rather than just me singing.

Ah, well at least we both had our concerts. Coming here from right before the concert would have been ... a little sad maybe?

[Ohh, so it's one of those bands where boys sing and dance?]

Do you write and compose your own songs?

Definitely. Especially after all the trouble we went through with the band.

[Still, not as much trouble as this girl had.]

Mostly lyrics. I do know the basics of song making, but our band has a composer who put us together.

And it'll all be waiting for us once we go back home.

Well then, I'm glad your composer put you all together when you work as a band. I write my own lyrics too, unless the song is a cover, but I know nothing about composing songs. I've just ...Sang for all my life like my life depended on it.

[...Yep, that's quite literally... correct too.]

Yes. Our careers have only just begun.

Our composer is an amazing person. I hope you'll meet her one day. I'm sure she would love to compose some music for you as well.

Well, mine started when I was twelve, but I just got back from a very long break.

Ah, I also hope that I'll meet her one day. It's wonderful to meet other people who are interested in music after all, and I'd be happy to hear if she'd compose something for me too.

Do you specify yourself and your music into some certain genre?

[Just curious~, because some people sing everything and some - like herself - sing only from one genre.]

I like to keep myself open to any new genres, but for now I'm focusing on one because of our band. Japanese pop would probably be the best way to describe it.

[They truly are a boyband.]

Ahh, me? I've always been a Japanese pop singer, since that's my favorite music genre.

Then you should try finding a band named ST☆RISH, if you still remember it when you go back. Who knows, our worlds might be connected.

Ah, yes. My boyfriend. [Wink~] He's a singer too. Two of my friends were here earlier, while he wasn't, back when I was here as a 12 and 13 year old months ago, but... [shrug] I guess they went home about at the same time with me, and maybe they'll come back here one day. Who knows about this world.

[Don't think about it too much, little moon. It's nothing to worry about.

This world really seems to like tricks like that... but I'm glad you're with the one you love, at least.

Just when you think that everything's fine, this world turns everything upside down... [Hey, it could be a serious problem, but she seems to be fine with it.] Mmm, thank you. I'm glad I have him and my friends here, just got to make more friends so everyone won't disappear from this world.
