[A video post opens. The camera is a little shaky at first, but settles down after a while. It's obvious that a Pokémon is recording this since the owner of the gear can be seen, standing further away from the gear with a saxophone on hand. This, however, isn't an accidental post as you can figure once Ren starts talking.]
I made a promise once that I would let someone listen to my music. It took me a while, but I'm ready to play now. [Hey, it's better than having to listen to the background music all the time, right?] This is what I've been able to come up with during the time I've been here.
[Enough talking for now. He'll start playing his saxophone to this song. Obviously he can't play it while he sings, but you get the idea of the rhythm every time he does play.
While he's singing, he seems to be really enjoying what he's doing. This is his passion for music, ladies and gentleman.
After the songs ends, he takes a moment to talk to his audience.]
Thank you for listening. [He smiles.] This also won't be the last time you'll be hearing me perform. I'm an idol, after all.
[With that, he'll give a small signal and the feed cuts here.]

Again! Again!

She claps her hands when he finished. ]
Pretty ...
video;
I'm glad you like it, lady.
video;
Mnmm ... Stellar likes it very much ...
Stellar likes music ... Stellar likes to dance ...
video;
It shows. You looked really happy when you listened and danced. [From what he was able to notice.]
Do you sing or play anything?
video;
Stellar doesn't sing ... or play instrument ...
[ She wasn't taught that. She was much too busy being taught to play with knives and guns. ]
video;
That's a shame. I bet you would have a really pretty singing voice.
video;
Really?

video;
Music is not part of her missions. ]

You need a permission from them?

Stellar can't do that ... Neo isn't here ...

[Of course, he has no idea what kind of a person this whole Neo fellow is.]

video;
You should start by trying songs you really like... practice makes perfect, so don't be afraid of any mistakes.

video;
Ahh, that was great~! Thank you for playing it.
Thank you for your compliment, lady. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
So you're a singer as well. I'd love to her you perform sometime.
Indeed, I am. I plan to make a full playlist at some point, thought it will be a cappella for a long time. Until I learn to use those music makers, or if someone wants to play a piano or something on them. [See how her plans are still kind of undone?] But I'll ask around about the whole thing later, and a cappella is fine too.
[But when you talk to this girl about hearing her songs... There are consequences.] Ahh, but I could sing something for you anytime if you'd like that.
[Not that he admits it, but he kinda misses Hijirikawa now.]
Well, I wouldn't mind hearing something now, if you have something on mind?
Chance to sing? She'll take it, and she doesn't even waste any time for other questions. She just seems thoughtful for a short moment, smiles after it and gets set, ready, go - enjoy Etoranze!]
[He quiets down to listen to what the girl has to say. Well, more like what she has to sing, it seems. Ren smiles as he listens.
She really puts her heart into the song, doesn't she? Even without music, you can clearly hear a wonderful meaning behind it.]
[and yes, there's that singing, hopefully you won't get bored.
She'll bow at the end with a smile on her face.]
That was really beautiful. You're very talented.
Thank you very much. [She takes the compliment too, really and she hears it a lot, but...] I'm just a girl who dedicated her whole life to singing.
[Ichi could have learned a thing or two from this girls when he had problems with his singing.]
[video] // I love how you just used the name Ichi there 8D
[video] // it's something I do out of habit
[video] // I know, and it's canon for Ren, too but.... it amuses me here XD
I did, but it's a very sad and kind of long story.
[video] // my work is done
I won't force you to tell it. I'm glad you got over it, though... it would have been a shame if a flower like you wouldn't have bloomed.
[...Well, you asked for it.]
I ...My parents died on the day I was born because they were rushing to the hospital, so mom could give birth to me... I cried about it a lot later, but at that time my life was full of people who'd rather have them than me alive, so... Crying was a bad idea, showing my feelings was a bad idea.
But then I moved into an other orphanage and I met a boy, who became like a brother to me. Then, suddenly, he had to move to America - and we were in Japan, by the way... Before he left, he ... confessed his love to me, but I couldn't answer, because I was too confused and happy for it.
Well, Eichi never made it to America. The plane crashed to the ocean on the way, no survivors. Ehh, I wasn't really supposed to see it in the news - but I did, yet no one knew that I had seen it.
So, then I remembered what he always said to me.
The moon always shows only one side of itself to us and hides its scars to the other side.
And so I did! Because those aunts in the first orphanage had always blamed me for the dead of my parents. Because I blamed myself for all three deaths and didn't want more blame from others and because I didn't want to believe it.
So I kept smiling [she'll make a face; like this ^___________________________________^] instead of crying or showing any signs of knowing that it happened. Instead I kept saying that I want to sing to him, to possibly go to meet him and all that stuff.
Then I met new friends, who found out about it and I started opening up a bit...
Ah, but it all lead to my producer questioning about my songs, whether they're really the word that I want to get out of my heart. And he's a really, really nice doctor / producer person, so hearing that he'll quit if I don't sing with my whole heart was a surprise... Then again, not so much because I knew what the problem was...
Ah, and then it took some time to get it out, but in the end I really found the full moon...
That sounded weird. And the story ended up much, much longer than I expected ...
[OOOOOOOOOOOPS!!]
Are you still there?
Yes. Sounds like you've had a rough life, even for someone so young... but you've gotten through it and now shine like the moon in the sky... and I'm sure you'll go far with your singing career.
[Flailing her hands.]
Ahh, but I'm competely fine now. Cheerful as ever, here in Johto again, and my music career just kicked into its new beginning at home.
Good to hear you're doing fine even on the health side now.
A bad timing for you as well, I take it? Our band just debuted before I came here.
Hmmm, maybe just half bad, since I did have a concert before I woke up in mom's house. And I've been here before, so ah, coming back is a fun experience.
You're in a band?
I guess that answers your question. Though it's a boyband with six guys, rather than just me singing.
[Ohh, so it's one of those bands where boys sing and dance?]
Do you write and compose your own songs?
[...other than that song from you, you know.]
[Still, not as much trouble as this girl had.]
Mostly lyrics. I do know the basics of song making, but our band has a composer who put us together.
Well then, I'm glad your composer put you all together when you work as a band. I write my own lyrics too, unless the song is a cover, but I know nothing about composing songs. I've just ...Sang for all my life like my life depended on it.
[...Yep, that's quite literally... correct too.]
Our composer is an amazing person. I hope you'll meet her one day. I'm sure she would love to compose some music for you as well.
Ah, I also hope that I'll meet her one day. It's wonderful to meet other people who are interested in music after all, and I'd be happy to hear if she'd compose something for me too.
I'll make sure to tell you if she ever appears. [Though he really hopes he'll be out of his situation if she does.]
Thank you~!
Ahh, right - I didn't even introduce myself, did I? Kooyama Mitsuki, that's in Japanese order, nice to meet you! [have a wink~]
Do you specify yourself and your music into some certain genre?
[Just curious~, because some people sing everything and some - like herself - sing only from one genre.]
[They truly are a boyband.]
How about you?
Ahh, me? I've always been a Japanese pop singer, since that's my favorite music genre.
[They both seem to come from modern-ish Japan, after all.]
Japanese pop does fit you well.
[Maybe she's still in the music business when they first debut!]
Thank you. Your style of music certainly fits you well too.
Thank you. That's always nice to hear.
You're welcome. [And have a smile.]
Aww, she has a boyfriend. Good thing he hasn't tried flirting with her
too much.]This world really seems to like tricks like that... but I'm glad you're with the one you love, at least.
Well, you've just made one more, if you'd like.
Yes, you're certainly one of my friends from now on~.
[...and hopefully she didn't bore you with her history...]
Well then, new friend, I got to go now - but let's talk a lot more about music and everything else later~!♪ Feel free to give me a call anytime.
Ah. Have a nice day and feel free to contact me anytime as well.
You have a nice day too, and please take care of yourself and I'll talk to you later. Bye now.
[She waves cheerfully before she hangs up. Ah, that was great. New friend get~ ♥]

That was really good, like a music video for a boy band you would find online almost?
no subject
Thank you. For a small performance like this, that's quite a compliment, lady. I'm pleased to hear it gave you that impression.
no subject
[ and now she's gone in to video edit mode... at least it's not a state of panicking or trying to get one of her fellow idols / traveling buddies out of a lake or cave for once. ]
no subject
Hmm... I'll have to keep those in mind before I make any other performances. I guess making a Meowth hold a video isn't the best idea for something like this. [Even if the Meowth had practice and she was standing on something to be taller.]
no subject
Where did you find one?... They're really adorable...
no subject
I received her as an egg from a colleague... but I've seen a few right outside Goldenrod City.
no subject
She's very cute though, did you give her a name or just leave it as Meowth?
no subject
Unfortunately, I'm quite bad with names, so she's still just Meowth. [He hasn't really named any of his Pokémon.]
no subject
How about naming it using a pun? I've been wanting to do that with my pokemon but Ai-chan and Ryo-san wouldn't really understand the naming patterns....
no subject
A pun? Hmm, I hadn't thought of that.
no subject
Puns are a lot of fun, there's almost an infinite amount of them you can use at any given time.
no subject
I've never been the one to joke... but I guess I could try. Mind giving me a tip or two, lady?
no subject
As for tips, using the sounds they make is a good start. Like for a Pikachu. pokadot would be good good name. Since they make a pika noise and it sounds a little like the root of pokadot? For a Persian, purcat would work since it's a pun on cats purring and the word perfect...
no subject
Those do sound quite clever. Especially the Purcat one.
no subject
No one ever thinks to use how it sounds in a different language as a way to springboard a joke. So it's always good think of things like that.
no subject
It's certainly a refreshing way to think about it.
[ video ]
You there! Quit disgracing your family and get a real job!
... And a haircut too while you're at it!
[ video ] ... I admit, I started laughing when I saw this :D
This is my real job and it was encouraged by my family. [Sort of. Though it's a subject he'd rather avoid.]
And there's nothing wrong with my hair.
[ video ] good >:D I was a little worried haha
What kind of family did you come from, a bunch of HIPPIES!
[ video ]
If by hippies you mean the sort that travel from place to place in a van, then no.
[ video ]
That's the problem with the youth today: too busy making noise that makes people want to dance instead of doing something constructive, like push ups, or hill defense.
[He suddenly seems to remember that he was yelling at someone on the Pokegear.]
Son, have you ever jumped on a live grenade, or taken a bullet to the lung while defending a hill?
[ video ]
He had also hoped that guy would get too distracted and leave, but no such luck.]
I'm pretty sure I would be dead if either of those happened.
[ video ]
What was he, a non-American?]
That's a sign that you're not doing enough SIT-UPS! I have jumped on 1,445 live grenades, personally killed 6,078 men in cold blood while looking them in the eye... [The list of incredibly dramatic and
ridiculousbelievable heroic things Soldier has done goes on for quite a bit.] ... and stuffed fourteen feet of my own intestines back into my own stomach, and I am still up and kicking ass!Maybe you could do the same if your HAIR wasn't in your face all the time! I never understood the hairstyles of the youth these days.
[ video ]
... it's the hair's fault now, is it? Ren sighs and shakes his head.]
I regret to inform you, but not everyone in this world is made to be a soldier, sir.
[ video ] 1/2
[ video ] 2/2
[ video ]
Since he'd rather be "let of the hook" Ren'll play another song. This time it's a song without the singing parts so he can just play the saxophone.]
no subject
So, the Beautifly flies towards Ren and lands on his head while the girl gives it a glare. That butterfly was going to have to learn some manners, such as not doing that. She tilts her head, looking at Ren and his instrument.]
Well, I guess you know something about music after all, Idol School Guy.
no subject
Well, it's only fitting for a beautiful girl to have a beautiful butterfly.]
I wouldn't be calling myself an idol if I didn't know anything about music.... but thank you for the compliment.
no subject
But no smiling and dancing from this girl. She's about as serious as ever, and eyeing at his instrument. If only... If only...]
Is that your only song?
no subject
It's not. Just the only one I've completely turned into a saxophone arrangement.
no subject
Oh... [She's so good at being social, isn't she?
Okay okay, talking about music. She can at least try to say something more.]
How many others do you have?
no subject
Hmm, around five, though a few of them are still a work in progress. Of course then there's a few songs that we sing with our band.
no subject
Also, is that just a tiny pout of jealousy of five songs if you squint a bit to look at her face? Maybe. Five. Five was a lot, in her point of view anyway, as she currently had ...None, or one but that one was ... She'd keep it inside her own head.]
So at least you're not lazy with music as you're with your pokemon.
[Mocking your pokemon training skills that don't even exists? Yup!]
no subject
Music is my passion. Pokémon is not.
[It's as simple as that.]
no subject
Doesn't mean you don't have any reason to train them.
[...though if she could compose music, she'd be less focused on her pokemon.]
no subject
no subject
...Idiot...
[He may or may not hear that.]
no subject
Did I say something wrong?
no subject
Other things like what?
no subject
no subject
no subject
no subject
Information such as what?
[The girl is pushing her luck.]
no subject
no subject
no subject
Why not? Might be interesting to try.
no subject
Well, it's not like I'm not going to beat them too. Interesting is a good word for it.
no subject
Perhaps we could travel to Violet City together sometime. It's said to be the first gym.
no subject
Fine by me if it doesn't require walking to that city all the way from here.
no subject
[Though he needs something else than a violent zebra who would throw him to the nearest lake...]
no subject
[Oh, hear that tone, Ren? She's not even mocking you, she's just curious.]
no subject
Other than that, riding the lands is the only way to get to Violet. Though it would be better to use the north routes rather than the south ones.
no subject
[Right, the fucking stupid logic - what logic - of this world.
So, they'd need a big or two big pokemon to travel with ...Hmmm.]
Do you have fire types in your team?
[It's not as random question as he might think that it is!]
no subject
Yeah. My secondary starter was a Houndour.
no subject
So get a pure fire-type, Growlithe, which evolves into a huge [hugging pillow] and fast Arcanine, that's much better than walking.
[.... :| because bossing others around is always a good idea.]
no subject
Perhaps I will. It might also keep me warm once winter comes.
no subject
It's also said to be fiercely loyal to its trainer on both evolutions.
[...which could cause trouble with your electric starter, but she's the girl who lets her fairies and pokemon fight each other, so don't mind that she doesn't mind adding that fact. It's kind of obvious anyway.]
no subject
no subject
no subject
no subject
no subject
no subject
"Too nice." ...Wait, she's not exactly sure how many Rockets actually let their Pokémon battle with each other.
... It's not like calling one back doesn't help at all, of course it does.]
Too easy.
no subject
no subject
no subject
I've set some of my goals high.
no subject
Not that most people do the same anyway, but I don't mind.
Yeah? What goals are those?
no subject
[Thought he doesn't sound like he's judging you for doing it, even if his attitude is like that.]
Most of them can't probably be accomplished in this world.
no subject
[...Coming from a girl whose goals at home affect in her goals in this world too, but uh...]
no subject
