[A video post opens. The camera is a little shaky at first, but settles down after a while. It's obvious that a Pokémon is recording this since the owner of the gear can be seen, standing further away from the gear with a saxophone on hand. This, however, isn't an accidental post as you can figure once Ren starts talking.]

I made a promise once that I would let someone listen to my music. It took me a while, but I'm ready to play now. [Hey, it's better than having to listen to the background music all the time, right?] This is what I've been able to come up with during the time I've been here.

[Enough talking for now. He'll start playing his saxophone to this song. Obviously he can't play it while he sings, but you get the idea of the rhythm every time he does play.

While he's singing, he seems to be really enjoying what he's doing. This is his passion for music, ladies and gentleman.

After the songs ends, he takes a moment to talk to his audience.]

Thank you for listening. [He smiles.] This also won't be the last time you'll be hearing me perform. I'm an idol, after all.

[With that, he'll give a small signal and the feed cuts here.]

Well, it's not like I'm not going to beat them too. Interesting is a good word for it.

[He's mostly thinking about it because it looks like breeding doesn't take that much effort.]

Perhaps we could travel to Violet City together sometime. It's said to be the first gym.

Fine by me if it doesn't require walking to that city all the way from here.

I wasn't planning on walking. You can use Pokémon to travel.

[Though he needs something else than a violent zebra who would throw him to the nearest lake...]

I know. Just need to find the pokemons which can be used... [Shouldn't be difficult if they just need to be big enough to carry a human or two.] So, Mister Who Talks To People To Hear Tips About Pokemon, what's the fastest way to travel with them?

Flying would be the fastest, but we need a gym badge and a HM move, apparently, to do that. [Thinking.] Though one of my Pokémon knows Fly through their egg moves, so I can do that after Violet City Gym and once she's strong enough.

Other than that, riding the lands is the only way to get to Violet. Though it would be better to use the north routes rather than the south ones.

[Right, the fucking stupid logic - what logic - of this world.

So, they'd need a big or two big pokemon to travel with ...Hmmm.]

Do you have fire types in your team?

Yeah. My secondary starter was a Houndour.

[Dark/Fire type, she's seen those around a lot because they live in the city. Thinking about its immunity skills and resistant skills etc.]

So get a pure fire-type, Growlithe, which evolves into a huge [hugging pillow] and fast Arcanine, that's much better than walking.

[.... :| because bossing others around is always a good idea.]

[Well, Ren doesn't really mind being bossed around by pretty girls that much... even if it mostly amuses him.]

Perhaps I will. It might also keep me warm once winter comes.

I don't really think having your Pokémon fight each other helps you to aim high. [It would just make everyday life complicated.]

I've set some of my goals high.

[Shrug.] Let's say that letting a few people [lol, they're not even real people, because they are fairies!] fight each other back home brought me to my position in there, so...

Not that most people do the same anyway, but I don't mind.

Most of them can't probably be accomplished in this world.

And you do so much with your goals at home in this world.
