Hmm, a Pokémon world? This is certainly something I didn't expect.

[Ren sounds pretty calm and thoughtful. He's been able to think about the situation pretty well for a while. Though his tone will change into slight amusement.]

I should have probably played the games better than just sometimes out of boredom... but I guess that's too late now.

[He'd rather be playing the games at home than be in a suspicious organization, but that's something he keeps to himself. Instead he'll voice some other thoughts.]

So the point is probably the same, right? Collect Pokémon, train them, defeat other trainers and gym leaders? Sounds pretty simple... but I'm aware this won't probably be like it is the games. They're now living creatures, after all.

Anyway, I guess I'll be seeing you around. [A small pause before he continues.] Especially the ladies~

[If anyone at the Rocket HQ wants to meet up with the newbie, he's either still in his room or wandering around the base where he can. Meet him up wherever you'd like.

He's definitely not wearing his uniform, because it just doesn't suit him.]

Of course. It's not the same to play a game as to do it yourself. I myself might get into trouble even with my knowledge... but hopefully more experienced persons, like yourself, would be able to guide me.

[Hey, it's a rec room! Look at that giant-ass TV, it's even got a karaoke machine! It's currently occupied though, by two boys who are busy kicking each other's asses at Mario Marowak Kart. One is a striking red-head, wearing a shirt that's a few inches too short, and the other's, well...it's hard to pin him down. His features seem strange, kind of off in some way. It's pretty creepy.]

[The base so far had been rather boring so of course he'd come to a room that has some action. He didn't really expect there to be games like this over here.

Though what's up with the other dude? He doesn't seem too healthy.

Oh well. Might as well talk with them as he watches... Marowak Kart.]

[There's a moment's silence following the greeting, as Luke takes his opponent out with a Squirtle shell. He cackles victoriously, before his eyes land on Ren. His grin is white and wide.]

Yeah! You know how to play this thing? [He motions to the controller his defeated opponent has abandoned in favour of sulking on the couch.] I'll kick your butt.

[A challenge, is it? Well, games here are most likely the same as they have at home, so why not. It might cure his current boredom, like playing sometimes did back home.]

Of course. [He'll take the other controller.] Though I might prove to be a challenge...

[Luke starts up another race, selecting the big evildoer Bowser Charizard as his player character. Charizard is less maneuverable, but faster.]

Are you new here or something? I don't remember seeing you.

[It's conversational, as he watches Ren select his own PC.]

I just arrived. [He says this while looking through his options. Well, if his opponent chose the bad guy, he might as well choose the hero Marowak. The man who rescues the princess over and over again is rather suitable.] I didn't expect there'd be something like this around. The place looked pretty dull mostly.

Who'd wear those Rocket uniforms? Especially the boots? Boo.

This is a completely different world. I doubt you'll find your friends here. I didn't. [Not that he even looked... but he figured they would have contacted him already.]

They're pretty simple. You just run around the world, throwing yourself into dangers and catching Pokémon to defeat more Pokémon... while being a 10 years old kid.

I'd say you didn't miss anything you'll face here if my hunch is right.

Though if you really want to know about them, then I can tell you what I know. I'm no expert, but I know enough. [He says this because you sounded slightly disappointed, miss. At least to his ears.]

I'm not sure about the gyms... I'll have to see what else there is.
