Hmm, a Pokémon world? This is certainly something I didn't expect.

[Ren sounds pretty calm and thoughtful. He's been able to think about the situation pretty well for a while. Though his tone will change into slight amusement.]

I should have probably played the games better than just sometimes out of boredom... but I guess that's too late now.

[He'd rather be playing the games at home than be in a suspicious organization, but that's something he keeps to himself. Instead he'll voice some other thoughts.]

So the point is probably the same, right? Collect Pokémon, train them, defeat other trainers and gym leaders? Sounds pretty simple... but I'm aware this won't probably be like it is the games. They're now living creatures, after all.

Anyway, I guess I'll be seeing you around. [A small pause before he continues.] Especially the ladies~

[If anyone at the Rocket HQ wants to meet up with the newbie, he's either still in his room or wandering around the base where he can. Meet him up wherever you'd like.

He's definitely not wearing his uniform, because it just doesn't suit him.]

I just arrived. [He says this while looking through his options. Well, if his opponent chose the bad guy, he might as well choose the hero Marowak. The man who rescues the princess over and over again is rather suitable.] I didn't expect there'd be something like this around. The place looked pretty dull mostly.

[Luke is already readying himself for an easy victory as the characters get dropped onto the track and the little Swablu holds out the traffic lights. Red, yellow--GO!]

Yeah, besides the rec rooms it is pretty boring in here. Been outside yet? The city's got stuff to do.

[Well, this is certainly a cute idea for a game... but Ren will seriously try for a victory here so be prepared. At least he's off to a good start.]

Tell you what-- [Shooting a banana peel into your path, Ren, take that!] --after I'm done beating you I can take you out to see stuff. I was getting bored cooped up anyways.

[Oh no, what should he do? Well, dodging seemed to work. Ren is also saving up items for later use.]

I have nothing against that idea... At least you seem like a person who'd show all the best places in town.

[Luke sets up a trap box between two real boxes. Sneaky! At the compliment, he grins.]

Yeah! I've been here for a few weeks now. I know a bunch of good places.

[Well, mistakes happen and Ren happens to hit the trap box. Well, that won't slow him down for too long... especially as Luke and the computer ones get hit by a lighting.]

[Shit! Ren is now beating him by like, 2 places. HE CAN'T LOSE.]

Hey! Not fair!

[Totally fair, Luke. In fact, he gets clobbered by an NPC's red shell and ends the race in fourth place.]

Didn't you say you were going to beat me?

Whatever. [Luke tosses the controller away, rocking easily back to his feet. He glances over his shoulder at Ren.]

C'mon, let's grab something to eat.

[Oh, Luke, why are you so amusing. Of course, Ren will try his best to hide his amusement, at least for now.

He gets up, calmly.]

[Luke calls his Zorua up onto his shoulder. The little fox blinks big green eyes at Ren owlishly.]

So, what's your name, anyway?

[Ren looks at the Zorua with slight curiosity. A mysterious being, he must say.]

Jinguji Ren... most people just call my Ren.
