[A video post opens. The camera is a little shaky at first, but settles down after a while. It's obvious that a Pokémon is recording this since the owner of the gear can be seen, standing further away from the gear with a saxophone on hand. This, however, isn't an accidental post as you can figure once Ren starts talking.]

I made a promise once that I would let someone listen to my music. It took me a while, but I'm ready to play now. [Hey, it's better than having to listen to the background music all the time, right?] This is what I've been able to come up with during the time I've been here.

[Enough talking for now. He'll start playing his saxophone to this song. Obviously he can't play it while he sings, but you get the idea of the rhythm every time he does play.

While he's singing, he seems to be really enjoying what he's doing. This is his passion for music, ladies and gentleman.

After the songs ends, he takes a moment to talk to his audience.]

Thank you for listening. [He smiles.] This also won't be the last time you'll be hearing me perform. I'm an idol, after all.

[With that, he'll give a small signal and the feed cuts here.]

[She listened the whole thing behind a corner (or anything else that works) and she's about to go away, completely unseen -- until her new, so called, hat decides to switch places.

So, the Beautifly flies towards Ren and lands on his head while the girl gives it a glare. That butterfly was going to have to learn some manners, such as not doing that. She tilts her head, looking at Ren and his instrument.]

Well, I guess you know something about music after all, Idol School Guy.

[Ren looks up as the butterfly sit on his head. Well, it wasn't everyday something like this happened. Just as he wonders where the Pokémon came from he notices Utau.

Well, it's only fitting for a beautiful girl to have a beautiful butterfly.]

I wouldn't be calling myself an idol if I didn't know anything about music.... but thank you for the compliment.

Unfortunately some people do. [And then prove to be some of the worst singers ever...

But no smiling and dancing from this girl. She's about as serious as ever, and eyeing at his instrument. If only... If only...]

[saxsongs]

[Ren will extend a hand to give the butterfly on his head a small scratch under the chin.]

It's not. Just the only one I've completely turned into a saxophone arrangement.

[And the Beautifly seems to like it, as she makes a cheerful sound~.]

Oh... [She's so good at being social, isn't she?

Okay okay, talking about music. She can at least try to say something more.]

How many others do you have?

[Maybe one day she'll get better at being social. One day.]

Hmm, around five, though a few of them are still a work in progress. Of course then there's a few songs that we sing with our band.

Also, is that just a tiny pout of jealousy of five songs if you squint a bit to look at her face? Maybe. Five. Five was a lot, in her point of view anyway, as she currently had ...None, or one but that one was ... She'd keep it inside her own head.]

So at least you're not lazy with music as you're with your pokemon.

[Mocking your pokemon training skills that don't even exists? Yup!]

[Hey, Ren could be offended because of that-- except why be when it's all true. Instead he laughs a little.]

Music is my passion. Pokémon is not.

[It's as simple as that.]

Waiting tables at the Game Corner, talking to people over network... [Revealing Rocket secrets, trolling Cobra.] Simple daily tasks.

[Rolls eyes.] Most important things ever, I see.

The first is my mission for the team, so it's somewhat important. And talking to others gives you useful information.

Anything. Tips on what Pokémon to raise, just in case I actually get interested in the future or tips on how to beat the Gyms.

Perhaps we could travel to Violet City together sometime. It's said to be the first gym.

I wasn't planning on walking. You can use Pokémon to travel.

[Though he needs something else than a violent zebra who would throw him to the nearest lake...]

I know. Just need to find the pokemons which can be used... [Shouldn't be difficult if they just need to be big enough to carry a human or two.] So, Mister Who Talks To People To Hear Tips About Pokemon, what's the fastest way to travel with them?
